Role Overview
The Virtual Assistant (VA) Programme Manager is accountable for leading Aviva's end to end Virtual Assistant transformation. The role spans strategy, design orchestration, delivery execution and governance. The role ensures successful orchestration and execution across business, digital, data, and operational workstreams, working within a multi party environment that includes Aviva, BCG, Group CIO teams, and specialist domains such as Risk, Compliance, Legal and Architecture.
This role requires a blend of strong programme leadership, structured planning, senior stakeholder management, and deep knowledge of Aviva's Change Framework and governance processes.
We're looking for someone with strong digital/AI programme experience within large organisations, deep governance expertise, and proven stakeholder leadership at senior level.
Key focus areas:
Full programme leadership across design, build, and launch
Governance aligned Change Framework
Senior stakeholder engagement (Exec Sponsors, SteerCo)
Business case ownership, financial tracking & benefits realisation
Risk, compliance, and data governance alignment
Multi-vendor and third-party delivery management
Agile delivery across complex tech environments
