Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Wickford for an Asbestos Supervisor. The Asbestos Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing asbestos removal projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project plans. Daily responsibilities include supervising teams, maintaining necessary documentation, conducting risk assessments, ensuring proper use of PPE, and maintaining high standards of health and safety throughout all project stages. The role also involves client communication and problem‑solving to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in project supervision, team management, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations in asbestos-related activities
* Knowledge of asbestos removal procedures, risk assessments, and related documentation requirements
* Understanding of health and safety standards, including proper use of PPE and site safety protocols
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenges effectively
* A valid Asbestos Supervisor License and knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks
* Strong communication and leadership skills to liaise with clients and lead a team
* Experience in the asbestos industry and operations is preferred
* Training in first aid or other relevant safety certifications is a plus
