The Role Youll be involved in:
Electrical fault-finding and maintenance
Planned preventative maintenance
Reactive breakdown support
Improving plant reliability and reducing downtime
Supporting maintenance planning across site
Working safely within permit to work systems
Maintaining pressure systems in line with requirements
Supporting maintenance stores, parts and stock control
Working closely with engineering and operations teams
Making sure work is completed safely and to a high standard
What Theyre Looking For This role is for an engineer who is electrically biased first, but happy working in a multi-skilled maintenance environment.
Essential: Strong electrical bias
17th or 18th Edition
Experience in maintenance within manufacturing, production, FMCG or industrial environments
Good electrical fault-finding skills
Experience with PPMs and breakdown maintenance
A practical, proactive approach
Able to work well as part of a team
Desirable: BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience in FMCG, feed mill or similar production environments
Boiler experience
IOSH
Good Microsoft skills
Mechanical understanding in a maintenance setting
