Protocol Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Northwood, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join their team from the Summer Term 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner to play a key role in children’s early learning and development at a crucial stage of their education. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a genuine commitment to creating a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have a passion for early years education.
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Demonstrate secure knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
* Have high expectations for children’s learning, behaviour and wellbeing
* Plan and deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
* Use assessment effectively to support progress and inform next steps
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
