The role:
You’ll take ownership of group and subsidiary management accounts and lead a small team of two Management Accountants. This is a rounded role that blends BAU with project work — roughly 50/50 — giving you exposure to both the numbers and the bigger picture.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering accurate and insightful monthly management accounts
* Leading all things stock: valuation, ageing, provisioning, costing
* Gross margin analysis, cost centre reviews, and product costing controls
* Coaching, supporting, and developing two Management Accountants
* Driving improvements across processes, controls, and reporting
* Working closely with the wider business and providing insight to support commercial decisions
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and project-based work alongside FP&A
What we’re looking for:
* A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
* Background in stock-heavy, product-based environments
* Hands-on and detail-oriented, but with a commercial mindset
* Experience using ERP systems
* Someone confident leading others – or ready to step into a leadership role for the first time
