Management Accountant
Stonehouse (4 days in the office)
£45,000 - £50,000
A hands-on, number two finance role in a Stonehouse manufacturing business that has experienced tremendous growth in the last few years. A great opportunity to take responsibility for management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting and the annual audit in this growing medium sized business.
Main responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary
* Reporting against prior year and budget
* Management reporting in areas such as sales, gross margin, stock and debtors
* Development of KPIs that measure company performance
* Posting of accruals and prepayments
* Monthly control account reconciliations
* Maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Production of VAT returns
Candidate background
* Could be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
* Experience of the manufacturing sector would be ideal
* Good experience of management accounting and reporting is important
* Proficient with ERPs and a high level of proficiency with Excel
