Job description
Nursery Practitioner(Lv2/3) needed in BR6 (Orpington) - 40 hours per week over 4 days
Location: BR6 (Orpington) - (6 minute bus from Oprington Station)
A lovely family run day nursery and Preschool in BR6 are looking to add a passionate and friendly nursery assistant to their team!
Candidate Requirements:
1. Full and Relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
2. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, -Nursery Assistant or similar)
3. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
4. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
5. Ability to use a variety of techniques to communicate with both children and adults clearly and successfully
6. Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
7. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
8. Be a team player that can support the Room leader in order to provide a safe learning space for children
