About The Role
Finance Manager – GNFR & Logistics at IPL Normanton, Produce Packing Facility.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
Location: IPL Normanton, hybrid working (2 days per week from home, 3 days onsite).
Contract Type: Permanent.
Key Accountabilities
* Business partner the GNFR (buying) team and our Logistics Senior Management Team.
* Lead planning and forecasting processes, ensuring reliability and accuracy of the plans and forecasts delivered to IPL and Asda deadlines.
* Attend and lead regular performance reviews with senior stakeholders to review cost performance vs plan, strategic initiative delivery and overall P&L performance.
* Drive consistent and clear reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to show true underlying performance vs plan and forecast (including currency impact, volume changes, cost inflation, claims, waste).
* Develop a deep understanding of key accounting systems – Prophet, Dynamics and Anaplan – and project manage any system developments specific to the Business Unit.
* Lead and develop 1 member of the team, ensuring strong business partnering is being delivered.
* Provide support to the Head of Finance on projects, group reporting/forecasting, and performance management.
Qualifications
* Industry experience or practice trained.
* Ability to build strong relationships across the business.
* Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, with working knowledge of or willingness to learn core accounting systems such as MS Dynamics or performance management systems such as Anaplan.
* Qualified accountant preferred (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) though candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
