Job Description Senior Vice President Global Planning - Defence Full Time Bristol/Derby Management Level A What you will be doing This attractive opportunity will give you a chance to be a key member of the Defence Leadership Group, integrating order intake through to execution. The role covers all significant elements of End-To-End Planning (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning), with a leading role on Group wide transformation. The position works across functions and profit & loss teams, developing/coaching a wide range of employees, driving change and achieving business deliverables. Responsibilities You’ll be leading the Defence Divisions end-to-end planning activities, influencing & supporting the Defence Leadership Team, via: Generation of the demand forecast and plan, tying in order intake, shop visit removals, inventory optimization, original equipment requirements and piece parts demand Integration of the supply forecast and plan, tying in the total supply chain (make & buy) inclusive of repair and inventory choices Maintenance of the “one source of the truth” inclusive of critical assumptions tied to order intake, production engine delivery, flight hours, removals and fleet retirement Leadership of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process, helping to drive best-in-class decision making and robust support of the budget/5YP People leadership across the planning organization for the Division, including Planning & Control functional ownership and Product Cost integration Why Rolls-Royce?
