Associate Director Transport Planner - Sheffield
You will be stepping into a senior, influential position where your expertise as an Associate Director Transport Planner directly shapes major development projects across the UK. Responsibilities
* Deliver site appraisals and support site promotion work
* Prepare and review Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
* Develop Travel Plans and sustainable mobility strategies
* Undertake junction and network modelling
* Support development planning and infrastructure planning work
* Manage data analysis, forecasting and technical reporting
* Lead stakeholder engagement and maintain strong client relationships
* Manage workloads, priorities and project delivery on a day‑to‑day basis
Qualifications
o Proven experience delivering transport planning projects at a senior level
o Strong report writing and communication skills
o Confidence managing clients and stakeholder relationships
o Experience using ARCADY / PICADY, TRICS, TEMPro and AutoCAD
o Motivation to uphold high technical standards and mentor others
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 dependent on experience. You will be based in Sheffield, working on a hybrid basis with agreed core office days. You will benefit from structured CPD, chartership support (CIHT, CILT or TPS), regular reviews and clear progression at Associate Director level and beyond.
