Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites?
If so, then this could be the role for you.
We are looking for a self-motivated and independent Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients' various workshops in a designated area, providing:
* Preventative Maintenance
* Emergency Breakdowns
* Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
* MOT Preparation
* Engine work and diagnostic investigations
* Correction of running defects
* Chassis and fabrication work
* Hydraulics and pneumatics
* Improvement of vehicle standards
* Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Your day starts when you start your vehicle!
In this role, no two days will ever be the same, and the products you work on will be diverse, including HGVs, Ground Support GSE, RORO (Roll on Roll Off), Fire and Rescue, Tractors, Tugs, and other bespoke operating platforms.
Your industry is moving faster every day, with Electric & Hydrogen Vehicles now part of the present. You will be trained on the newest products and repair techniques as required.
A Class 2 Licence would be beneficial.
You will need to be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have been accredited via an authorized Apprenticeship.
