Senior Administrator / Team Leader (Part Time, 4 Days)
Farringdon, London | £35, FTE | 30 hours across 4 days (Mon-Thu preferred)
Are you a natural organiser who loves keeping things running smoothly? Do you enjoy supporting a busy team, making processes easier, and being the "go-to" person everyone relies on? If so, this new Senior Administrator / Team Leader role could be perfect for you.
We're a friendly, growing consultancy with a buzzing London office (soon moving to brand-new space nearby!). Our team includes everyone from experienced consultants to fresh grads who've relocated to the city - and we love to mix serious work with plenty of socials (think after-work drinks, bowling, darts, and annual away trips).
This role is part-time (30 hours across 4 days per week, ideally Monday-Thursday) - perfect for someone looking to balance work with life outside the office.
What you'll be doing:
1. Leading and supporting a small admin team (currently 2 people) - distributing work fairly and keeping things on track.
2. Supporting two Office Managers with day-to-day operations and problem solving.
3. Document Management - bids, proposals, contracts and reports will rely on your eye for formatting, templates, and Excel skills.
4. Being the hub of the office: from organising travel and supplies to helping coordinate events and socials.
5. Support with Health and Safety compliance, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
6. Ad Hoc Administration - Meeting and greeting clients, answering and vetting phone calls, arranging couriers, stocking supplies, collecting post and arranging office cleaners, you'll help keep office operations running smoothly.
7. Improving processes and finding smarter ways of working using Microsoft, SharePoint and other tools.
8. Bringing positivity and approachability to a friendly yet technical team.
What we're looking for:
9. Proven experience as a Team Leader or Senior Administrator.
10. A confident organiser who loves distributing workloads and keeping things running smoothly.
11. Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and formatting documents (templates will be your best friend).
12. Someone proactive, reliable, and comfortable juggling priorities.
13. A warm, approachable personality - happy working alongside both seasoned professionals and lively grads.
14. Enjoys being part of an office community (and doesn't mind joining the occasional after-work social!).
What's in it for you:
15. £35, FTE salary (pro-rata for 30 hours).
16. 30 hours across 4 days (with flexibility on hours, ideally Mon-Thu).
17. Central Farringdon location
18. Be part of a welcoming, sociable office culture.
19. Opportunity to shape a newly created role and make it your own.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you're looking to bring your admin and leadership skills into a supportive, people-focused role where you'll really make an impact.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
