We have an exciting new opportunity for a Electrician to join the responsive repairs team at an award-winning housing association. You will be responsible for completing repairs in customer's homes.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in occupied social housing properties including lighting, power circuits, consumer units and electrical appliances ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory standards
2. Conduct electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) to assess the safety and condition of electrical installations in residential properties.
3. Carry out PAT testing on electrical appliances and equipment to ensure safety and provide necessary certifications
4. Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently minimising disruption to tenants, maintaining high service standards
5. Install and upgrade electrical systems, including consumer units, lighting circuits and smoke alarms, ensuring safety and compliance with housing standards
6. Perform routine electrical maintenance across properties, including scheduled inspections and emergency repairs, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly and meet health and safety requirements
Requirements:
7. Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
8. Level 3 Electrical Installation
9. 2391 testing and Inspection
10. 18th edition
