About the RoleAs the Data Services Manager, you'll report to and deputise for the Senior Data Services Manager, leading a talented team of Data Engineers. You'll be instrumental in delivering Kensington's Data Strategy, developing innovative data products, and championing data governance and quality across the organisation.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide technical delivery, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders across Mortgage Originations, Servicing, Securitisations, and Finance. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a high-performing Data Engineering and BI teamDrive the design and delivery of complex data and analytics solutionsChampion data governance, quality, and complianceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goalsSupport Agile delivery and continuous improvementAct as a technical authority and contribute to Kensington's Technical Design Authority What You'll Bring10-15 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, BI, or Analytics2+ years in a leadership or management roleDeep expertise in Microsoft Data Platform (SQL Server, Azure, Power BI, Databricks, etc.)Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and complianceProven ability to lead hybrid cloud/on-premise data solutionsExperience with CI/CD, DevOps/DataOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC)Essential: Experience working in a regulated financial services environment, with a solid understanding of data protection, risk management, and regulatory compliance
