Summary

Wimpole Estate is looking for two Programming Assistants to help deliver our exciting summer of programming. You’ll assist in the delivery of a summer programme of activities and events. By doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Contract/duration: 8 weeks starting on the 13th July

Hours/working pattern: 37.5 hours per week (5 days) across 8 weeks, weekend and bank holiday working to be expected. Rota of days will be provided at interview stage.

Interview date: 15th-17th June 2026

What it's like to work here

This impressive mansion and home farm is the only National Trust property that manages all its visitor attractions and activities in-house. Visitor numbers have increased rapidly in recent years and Wimpole is regarded as one of our most successful properties in terms of growth and innovation. What you'll be doing

Working with the estate team you'll deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors throughout the summer. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.
