We're looking for a friendly and dependable Booking Radiology Officer to become the voice behind our Radiology Appointments, ensuring patients feel supported every step of the way. As part of our friendly, office based Radiology Bookings team you'll be Handling telephone based appointments bookings for Answering patient queries with empathy, warmth and professionalism Scheduling Radiology Appointments, including X-ray, DEXA and Ultrasound scans. Coordinating with clinical teams to prioritise urgent bookings Managing data accurately using trust systems About you You're approachable, calm under pressure, and a great communicator You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment You have a previous admin or booking experience (ideally in healthcare) You're comfortable using IT systems and juggling multiple priorities You bring kindness and care to every conversation Why Choose Us? Person specification Qualifications / Experience Essential criteria Educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent, including English and Mathematics Ability to manage own workload Ability to work as part of a team Able to work within guidelines and policies High level of accuracy and attention to detail required Desirable criteria Booking patients X-ray/Scan from an out-patient for scheduling waiting list Clerical experience in a hospital setting with use of e-camis, Soliton & EPR Technical Skills Essential criteria Computer literate Desirable criteria Previous experience or interest in IT Knowledge Essential criteria Hospital IT systems Desirable criteria NHS waiting list and cancer targets Other Essential criteria Team player Good verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure
