Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid – 2–3 days working from home)

Overview
Our client is a well‑established specialist in aluminium façade systems, delivering high‑quality solutions across curtain walling, glazing, and window & door packages. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Façade Estimator to join their commercial team, playing a key role in securing and delivering profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for aluminium curtain walling, glazing, and window & door systems
* Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
* Produce detailed take‑offs and pricing schedules
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
* Work closely with the design, commercial, and project delivery teams
* Identify value engineering opportunities and cost‑saving solutions
* Attend pre‑ and post‑tender meetings as required
* Assess project risks and contribute to bid strategy
* Maintain and develop relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the façade or building envelope sector
* Strong knowledge of aluminium curtain walling, glazing systems, and windows & doors
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
Desirable
* Experience working with leading façade systems (e.g., Schüco, Reynaers, Senior Architectural Systems)
* Knowledge of UK construction processes and contracts
* Commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability
