ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a high-performing, Ofsted Outstanding school in Islington to recruit an experienced and highly organised Headteacher’s PA.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of the school’s leadership function, providing dedicated executive-level support in a fast-paced and professional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Headteacher’s office and wider administrative priorities.

The Role – Headteacher’s PA
You will provide high-level personal assistant and administrative support to the Headteacher, acting as a central point of coordination across leadership, governance, and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing dedicated PA support to the Headteacher, including diary management and meeting coordination
* Preparing agendas, reports, and correspondence to a high professional standard
* Acting as a key point of contact for staff, governors, parents, and external partners
* Organising meetings and taking accurate minutes, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked
* Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
* Supporting wider school administrative, HR, compliance, admissions, and office management priorities as required
Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous PA or senior administrative experience within a school setting (essential)
* Demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Have experience supporting HR, compliance, admissions, and office management functions
* Be a confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
* Show a high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with school systems such as Arbor or SIMS is desirable
* Remain calm under pressure and able to prioritise competing demands
