Hyper Acute Stroke Unit Deputy Ward Manager
The Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) consists of 11 in-patient beds, providing high-quality care for patients presenting with symptoms of stroke. We offer evidence-based, multidisciplinary level 2 care, including thrombolysis.
Patients are cared for using a multidisciplinary approach with 7-day Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy services. Patients may be transferred to a regional tertiary centre if appropriate or continue their journey at the Recovery Stroke Unit.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and passionate nurse committed to high-quality patient care. The post holder must have a flexible approach, experience supporting the delivery of high standards of nursing care within the acute medical pathway, and demonstrate excellent clinical leadership and communication skills across the multidisciplinary team.
