We are looking for dedicated Social Care Assistants to provide high‑quality direct care and support to residents at Aylesbury Opportunities Centre. Our day centres offer day support and activities for adults with learning disabilities, autism, dementia and/or physical disabilities, focusing on high‑quality care and support to individuals and their families.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care to individuals, including dressing, toileting and washing.
* Support a small group of clients.
* Organise and facilitate activity sessions.
* Maintain client files and support plans.
* Inform senior colleagues and adhere to safeguarding procedures regarding any concerns.
* Work in partnership with individuals, carers, service providers, voluntary sector and other professionals.
* Collaborate as part of a team.
* Work from a fixed location, primarily in the main centre, and travel to other day centres as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum Level 2 Care Certificate.
* Ability to be flexible and travel between centres.
* Strong interpersonal skills, patient and caring.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and ability to use remote management tools.
Salary & Benefits
Salary £25,151 – £28,253 per annum pro‑rata. Additional £1,000 “Golden Hello” payment upon successful completion of probation (pro‑rata for part‑time).
