We re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Secretary or Admin Assistant to join our client based in Redditch or Northfield. You ll be supporting our solicitors and directors with a range of secretarial and administrative tasks, helping ensure our clients receive a smooth, professional service during sensitive and challenging times.
Monday-Friday GBP25-30k depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day secretarial support to fee earners
* Prepare and type legal documents, letters, and court forms (audio and copy typing)
* Maintain accurate and organised case files using our ALB case management system
* Liaise with clients professionally by phone, email, and in person
* Manage diaries, book appointments, and assist with client meetings
* Handle incoming calls and messages promptly and accurately
* Assist with general office tasks, including filing, scanning, and archiving
* Cover reception or switchboard on a rota basis when needed
About You
* Previous secretary experience
* Fast and accurate typing skills ideally words per minute
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach
* Comfortable using case management systems and MS Office
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Willing to support other departments when needed
