Working with a busy and well-established construction recruitment agency based in Southend, we're looking for an experienced Recruitment Admin Coordinator to join the team and support the smooth day-to-day running of the business. This is a purely administrative role — there are no sales calls, no business development, and no KPI-driven targets. You’ll be the backbone of the operation, ensuring everything behind the scenes runs efficiently and compliantly. The Role: You will be responsible for the full administrative support of a high-volume construction temp/contract desk, including: Processing and managing weekly timesheets Payroll administration and liaison with payroll providers Compliance checks (right to work, references, certifications, onboarding) Booking and coordinating temporary and contract workers Handling worker and client queries professionally and efficiently Maintaining accurate records and systems Supporting consultants to ensure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly About You: Previous experience in contract recruitment would be ideal Comfortable working in a busy envirnoment Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident managing deadlines Good communication skills and a proactive approach Experience within construction recruitment would be an advantage, but not essential What's On Offer: Competitive base salary of £32,000 On-site parking Stable, supportive working environment A role focused on operations and administration, not sales
