Job overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Coventry. The successful candidate will work with jigs and fixtures to produce high-quality chassis parts for the Land Rover aftermarket.

Key responsibilities
Weld production: Execute high-standard MIG welding on chassis parts and assemblies using jigs and fixtures.
Technical interpretation: Work from technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure products meet precise specifications.
Quality control: Carry out pre- and post-weld inspections to ensure structural integrity and a high-quality finish.
Production targets: Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Safety and maintenance: Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
Team collaboration: Work closely with the wider production team to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process.Skills and qualifications
Proven experience as a MIG Welder, ideally within an automotive or production environment.
Proficient in using jigs and fixtures for repeatable and accurate welding.
Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
A reliable and punctual team player with good communication skills.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing setting.Working hours and pay
Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour.
Weekly hours: 38 hours per week.
Shift pattern:
Monday-Thursday: 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. (early finish)
Pay cycle: Weekly, paid every Thursday, one week in arrears.Benefits

Holiday allowance: 22 days holiday plus all Bank Holidays (once permanent).
Equipment: All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools are supplied.
