Key Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Manager job:
* Drive new business growth by identifying and winning high-potential accounts.
* Promote design-in opportunities to generate long-term, recurring revenue streams.
* Deliver technical sales support on embedded platforms, display systems, and edge technologies.
* Lead negotiations, close deals, and manage post-sales activities.
* Build and maintain relationships across R&D, Engineering, and C-suite levels.
Location:
* This is a field-based role in the UK with flexibility for regular customer visits and some travel to A sites or partner events.
Required Experience and Skills for the Technical Sales Manager job:
* Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer, Aerospace, Telecom) or Commercial discipline.
* Strong knowledge of embedded computing and display solutions.
* Proven success in selling embedded systems including 19” racks, rugged enclosures, panel PCs, AI/IoT platforms, and custom-engineered products.
* Experience with technical sales involving design and manufacturing.
Other Requirements:
* Valid UK driving licence.
* UK passport due to MOD contract engagement.
