Assistant Project Manager Location: Theale Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent About Hydro International Hydro International, a CRH Company, provide innovative water monitoring systems and data services to local authorities, water companies and the Environment Agency. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our expanding team. The Role As Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing hydrometric projects from proposal through to delivery. You will work closely with clients, field teams and data specialists, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage projects including winning work, attending client meetings, report writing and quality assurance of hydrometric data prior to issue Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards Manage project administration including WIP, stock, cost provision, invoicing, project reviews and CRM updates Liaise regularly with field and data teams to manage priorities and resource requirements Write fee proposals, tenders and technical reports to company standards Maintain regular client contact and provide project updates Manage a portfolio of projects in line with annual revenue and margin targets Generate new business in line with agreed growth objectives Ensure CRM systems are accurate and up to date at all times Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients Ensure all deliverables meet client specifications and contractual requirements Work in compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards Undertake any other reasonable duties required by the business Required Skills & Experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills Positive, proactive and solution-focused attitude Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Full UK driving licence Valid passport Desirable / Advantageous Experience Proven project management experience Experience preparing bids, proposals or tenders Degree in a relevant subject (Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering or similar) Experience with field measurements and hydrometric data processing Familiarity with time-series databases Ideal Candidate You will be driven, organised and customer-focused, with a strong desire to deliver successful projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
