We're working with a key public sector client who is looking to bring in an experienced HR Generalist to support their People team on an initial contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad, hands‑on HR role with a mix of operational delivery and stakeholder support.
What you'll be doing
* Providing day-to-day HR advice to managers (ER, policy, casework)
* Supporting employee engagement and people initiatives
* Assisting with L&D and capability programmes
* Producing and using people data / MI to support decisions
* Contributing to organisational change and HR projects
What we're looking for
* Strong HR generalist experience (Senior Advisor / HRBP level)
* Confident handling employee relations casework
* Experience working with stakeholders and managers
* Exposure to change, engagement or L&D activity
* Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
The role
* Hybrid working (1-2 days onsite in Edinburgh)
* Initial contract with potential to extend
