Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in home care settings. Responsibilities
* Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Supporting individuals with their care plans to ensure personalised and effective care
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
* Administering medication as directed by healthcare professionals (training provided)
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
* Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
* Supporting clients with light domestic tasks to promote independence
* Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
* Driving between different locations for home care visits (where applicable)
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
* Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting home visits
* Good command of English, both written and spoken
* Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
* Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: £12.50 per hour
