Classroom Connect are looking for ambitious, energetic and committed Unqualified Teachers who will help expand the learning experiences of the children in Lincoln.
No two days will be the same as you may be required to work in a variety of subject areas. However, you're not expected to be an expert in each subject you work in, what is more important is the ability to build rapport quickly with children to ensure they remain on-task throughout the lesson.
This role would suit someone who has a passion for working with young people. It's also a perfect way to see if teaching could be a career for you
Ideally, you'll have a degree but this is not essential. Some experience of working with young people is preferred.
What is essential though, is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Ideally the successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
* Good Communication – Communicating with young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
* Organisation – Ideally, you will have experience of organising and planning well-structured activities for young people or adults. You will also be able to demonstrate how you tailor these activities to the needs of the pupils; adapting to respond to the strengths and needs of each learner.
* Caring Nature – The young people you will work with require the best care you can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
* Attentiveness – No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people you support is vital.
