TheOpportunity:
To assist andcoordinate the remote data processing activities of Rovcoshydrographic survey and inspection projects. Ensuring qualitycontrol and assurance of data complies with the project scope ofwork. Processing & supervision of survey data acquired fromVessel/USV/AUV/ROV platforms and to produce survey data productsfor GIS/SSDM charts andreports.
MainResponsibilities
* QC& QA of acquired survey data.
* QC& QA of survey deliveryproducts.
* Maintain knowledge and developexperience in survey applications and surveytechniques.
* Maintain comprehensive handovernotes.
* Maintain a detailed and accurateprocessing log and checklist.
* Processing& supervision of hydrographic survey and inspectiondata.
* Creating survey datadeliveries.
* Producing GIS / SSDM projects andGIS / CAD charts.
* Documenting procedures andworkflows for Hydrographic Survey and Inspectionprojects.
* Project preparation planning andtendering support.
* Provide support to theoffshore team.
* Coordinate remote dataprocessing flow.
* Support USV remote dataprocessing operations.
* Setup and administrationof data processing hardware andsoftware.
* Working with the development team ondeveloping and utilising AI and machine learning for surveyprojects
Youshould apply if youhave:
Essential:
* Survey/ Hydrographic / Ocean Science / Data relatedDegree
* Experience in Offshore Survey Projectsin a Data Processor role
* Experience in DataManagement
* Experience with setup andadministration of data processing hardware andsoftware.
Desirable:
* Knowledgewith TVU planning and reporting.
* Experiencewith SSS and seismic navigationprocessing.
* Experience with creating charts(GIS & CAD).
* Experience with remoteoperations.
* Experience with automation fromacquisition to delivery.
* Experience with ascriptinglanguage.
