Head of Facilities Management (Technical and Compliance)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Head of Facilities Management (Technical and Compliance) to join our professional team.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the operational management, professional leadership and strategic development of Hard FM services across the Trust. This includes ensuring statutory compliance, asset lifecycle management, and delivery of safe, efficient, and sustainable estates services across all sites.
You will provide governance for all teams within your portfolio and drive forward the strategic development of Hard FM to ensure services remain efficient, effective, and responsive, utilising integrated working across public health services within KCHFT and our partners.
Job responsibilities

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Master's degree or equivalent experience in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Estates Management, or related field.
* Being a health care professional and holding a management and leadership qualification.
Knowledge and Skills
* Understanding of National Service Frameworks, statutory reporting, and legal requirements relevant to care setting and its application across health care services.
Experience
* Significant experience in managing Hard FM services in a healthcare or complex multi‑site environment. Proven track record of delivering statutory compliance (HTMs, HBNs, Building Safety Act, Water Safety, Fire Safety).
