🔧 The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Qualifying Supervisor Electrician to lead electrical safety, inspection, and testing across the North of England and beyond.
You’ll oversee and audit electrical work, carry out installations and de-installations of AC/DC power systems, and ensure our engineers and contractors are working to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
This is a hands-on, varied role — perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility, teamwork, and technical challenge.
⚙️ What You’ll Do
* Lead and audit electricians and contractors to ensure safe working practices.
* Carry out inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems.
* Isolate, de-install, and install DC power systems and battery banks.
* Support telecoms and data centre decommissioning projects across the UK & Europe.
* Maintain training and safety records for electrical teams.
* Perform maintenance and testing of TXO/Lynx premises.
🧠 What You’ll Bring
* Experience leading electrical teams or supervising contractors.
* Strong background in industrial DC systems and telecoms environments.
* Excellent inspection, testing, and fault-finding skills.
* Eye for detail, safety-conscious mindset, and strong documentation skills.
* Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
🎓 Qualifications
* NICEIC certification.
* 18th Edition (BS7671).
* NVQ Level 3 & AM2.
* City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection.
* ECS/JIB Gold Card.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Bonus points for: FGAS, IPAF, PASMA, or H&S training.
