Overview

We currently have a vacancy for a Receptionist and are looking to appoint a dynamic and energetic individual to join our administration team.

Location: Hull

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full Time)

Salary: £25,077 per year


Key Activities

* As first point of contact within the service, ensure Service Users and other visitors receive a friendly and efficient service and that all calls and visits are dealt with promptly and courteously.
* Contribute to the management of an effective appointments system.
* Contribute to the improvement and upkeep of all client areas, ensuring the welcome area/client area promotes premises fit for recovery.
* Encourage service user feedback and the use of the Suggestion Box to all clients accessing the service.
* Ensure all client information displayed in the waiting room area is current and relevant, keeping the wall space tidy and maintaining sufficient stock of leaflets and information.
* Signpost service users to the relevant part of the service.
* Provide basic advice and information on the service offer.
* Provide general support to Peer Mentors who are manning front of house.
* Input information onto the CGL Information System as required.
* Follow the CGL incident reporting policy where necessary.


General terms of reference

* Work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.
* Covering all CGL Hubs within Hull when cover is required.
* Seek to improve personal performance, contribution, knowledge and skills.
* Participate in appraisal, training and supervision processes.
* Keep abreast of developments in services, legislation and practice relevant to the client group.
* Ensure the implementation of all CGL policies.
* Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and a safe environment.
* Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of the post, including supporting prescribing administration and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) support.
* Work flexibly and support the needs of the business; this will include some evening and weekend work.
