Job Title: Business Support Administration Apprentice - Children's Services Salary: National Minimum Wage for Age Contract Type: Apprenticeship - 21 months Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Training Provider: South Essex College About the Department The Family Support Team (FST) work with families experiencing a range of challenges such as debt, domestic violence, poor mental or emotional health and substance misuse. About the Role We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Family Support Team (FST) in Children's Services. This apprenticeship would suit someone looking for a career in Business Administration and an interest in Social Care. It is desirable that you have four GCSEs Grades 2 - 9 (or A E) with English and Mathematics being at Grade 4 - 9 (or A D) or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English. Equivalent qualifications such as BTEC First Certificate/Diploma or any other Level 1 qualifications will also be considered. The successful applicant would study a Business Administration Apprenticeship at Level 3 provided by South Essex College. You will be provided with a wide variety of work experience opportunities and support to meet the standards for this level. As a Business Support Administration Apprentice, you will be responsible for: - Monitoring a generic FST inbox - Answering telephone calls - Tracking data such as passports, birth certificates and meetings - Supporting with ad-hoc administrative tasks - Opportunity to shadow and minute-take Children's Services meetings What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: - Is committed to complete their full Apprenticeship - Brings new ideas to the team - Is professional - Is willing to learn - Is proactive - Is highly organised - Has great communication skills DBS Check: Not Required for this role.
