Job details We are looking to recruit reliable and motivated Cleaners to join our One Leisure team. This is a vital front-line role helping to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and welcoming for customers, schools, clubs and colleagues. With variable hours available, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work as part of a supportive and customer-focused team. About the role As a cleaner at Burgess Hall, One Leisure, you will be responsible for carrying out daily cleaning tasks to prescribed standards across the centre, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, hygiene and safety at all times. You will follow site-specific cleaning schedules, use cleaning equipment safely, and work around facility usage to minimise disruption to customers. You will play an important part in supporting Duty Managers by reporting any operational issues, damage, vandalism or health and safety concerns, and by maintaining effective working relationships with staff and customers. About you We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will have: experience working as a cleaner, including routine, deep and heavy cleaning tasks the ability to work unsupervised and use your own initiative good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach to customers and colleagues an understanding of the importance of health and safety, and safe use of cleaning equipment a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and other unsocial hours to support with the post-event cleans.
