Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Finance Systems
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Alderley Edge or Edinburgh
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering changes to our Accounting and Actuarial systems to support the achievement of the Group strategy. You will ensure that business outcomes are clearly understood and that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
You will oversee the planning and delivery of the entire change lifecycle for projects involving both Business and Technical changes.
About the role
* Manage complex change initiatives across multiple lines of business.
* Link financial or actuarial system changes to upstream projects.
* Support Finance in planning and solution shaping.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues during projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project goals.
* Monitor project progress and update stakeholders regularly.
* Promote continuous improvement to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
About you
* Experience with projects involving finance systems and understanding technical actuarial and financial terminology.
* Experience in release management and planning around actuarial release schedules.
* Data migration experience is desirable.
* Proficiency with planning tools and financial control frameworks.
* Strong interpersonal skills to influence and facilitate change.
* Life and Pensions experience is a plus but not essential.
