Job Purpose
As a Childcare Assessor, you will be responsible for recruiting, retaining and completing a standardised caseload of learners enrolled in Childcare/ Children and Young People qualifications. You will deliver training, assessment and quality assurance of learners’ work, oversee practical competence in workplace settings, and support marketing activities and employer engagement events.
Key Responsibilities
* Recruit, support and encourage marketing activities for Childcare, Teaching Assistants, Children and Young People and Playwork qualifications.
* Deliver training, assessment and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with qualification requirements.
* Support and monitor learner progress, attend Programme Area and standardisation meetings.
* Engage with employers, meet learners and employers within workplace settings, predominantly remotely with occasional travel.
Qualifications
Required: • Relevant teaching/assessment experience in childcare or related qualifications. • Strong organisational, communication and marketing skills. • Ability to plan visits efficiently and support individual learners.

£28,729.56 – £31,176.06 per annum
