Contracts Administrator
Providing essential day‑to‑day commercial and contract administration support to the EMEA team, this role focuses specifically on managing and executing UK‑based contracts. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will join a close‑knit team focused on delivering high‑quality support to major aerospace customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Interaction: Acting as a primary point of contact for the main UK customer, handling frequent urgent requests and managing professional relationships.
* Contract Administration: Processing and monitoring routine UK contracts, customer orders, and shipping requirements within the EMEA division.
* Data Management: Utilising Excel, Word, and SAP to maintain accurate contract data and support internal systems.
* Internal Collaboration: Working across various departments to ensure business objectives are met and company projects are supported.
* Compliance: Identifying and escalating potential business risks while ensuring adherence to financial and export control policies.
Person Specification
The focus is on administrative capability and the resilience to handle a demanding, fast‑paced environment.
* Experience: Proven background in an administrative or commercial support role. While aerospace experience is a benefit, it is not essential.
* Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required. Experience with SAP is an advantage but training is provided.
* Attributes: High level of resilience and the ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities. A proactive team player who is willing to assist colleagues during busy periods.
* Qualifications: Relevant business‑related qualifications (A‑level, NVQ) are beneficial, though candidates with significant practical experience are encouraged to apply.
