We are looking for a senior or head veterinary nurse to join the team
The very best equipped surgery for General Practice, Blackheath Veterinary Surgery is a leading and progressive practice in South East London.
At Blackheath Vets, we do like to take the opportunity to celebrate together, whether that be birthdays or career based achievements - and you can even sometimes find us at the local pub for a pub quiz every now and then to really test the brain cells
We have some great equipment at Blackheath Vets, including Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Laparoscopic Facilities, Microscope, Ultrasound, In-House Lab, Endoscope, and Stem Cell Treatment. We have the top of the range Imotek unit, and Karl Storz scopes here
We are lucky to be in the Blackheath and Greenwich area, surrounded by quaint residential streets. We have the Royal Greenwich Park within walking distance and also the famous Greenwich Market all within easy reach of busy London.
Blackheath is also a slightly longer walk, or short bus ride and is a must if you want to shop and explore its boutique shops and tasty coffee shops and bistros, or sit by the duck pond and relax.
There are plenty of transport links nearby, including access to the Overground (Westcombe Park miles) and Underground (North Greenwich miles) and numerous bus routes too.
Your average day here at Blackheath Vets will include a wide range of nursing tasks, but no two days are the same here, which gives you variety you are craving and leaves you feeling fulfilled whilst utilising your nursing skills to the highest level.

This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours per week with 1:4/5 Saturdays (8.30am-2pm)
No On Call or Out of Hours
