Global Highland are currently working with their well established client, a trusted name in office solutions across the Highlands. Currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong Sage accounting experience to join their close-knit team.
About The Role
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth financial operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update Sage accounts system
* Manage sales and purchase ledgers
* Prepare VAT returns and submit to HMRC
* Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
* Payroll processing (if experienced)
* Liaise with external accountants and assist with year-end preparations
What We're Looking For
* Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business
* Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts (or similar Sage software)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities
* Good communication skills and a team-player mindset
