You will be working with children that require both academic and pastoral support to ensure they are reaching their expected levels of progress. You will have the opportunity to work with children on a 1:1 basis and on a group basis providing tailored intervention sessions as well as supporting full class teachers in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to cover lessons gaining invaluable experience prior to starting a PGCE or schools direct teacher training programme.
