We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join this team to take on an existing caseload of quality corporate clients and assist with growing the current employment offering which includes immigration and HR consultancy work. You will work closely with other members of the team within a very established, cohesive and friendly team who share a passion for Employment law. This role would appeal to solicitors with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in employment law who are seeking a dynamic and challenging environment. Candidates who are passionate about employment law and enjoy both contentious and non-contentious work would find this role particularly attractive. Additionally, individuals who thrive in client-facing roles and are eager to build and maintain strong relationships with clients would be drawn to this opportunity. This position suits those who are proactive, organised, and have strong communication skills, as well as a desire to contribute to the overall success of the firm's Employment Practice group. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge across some of the following areas of employment law: What the role involves Manage an existing caseload of corporate clients Provide advice and guidance on employment law matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work Acts for employers and employees on a range of employment issues Advise on settlement agreements, employment contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and employment status Work on various matters in the Employment Tribunal, assisting clients with unfair dismissal claims, discrimination, whistleblowing, restrictive covenants, and TUPE As part of the business immigration team, advise on sponsor licence applications, worker visa applications, right-to-work checks, and rights to work in the UK Prepare legal documents like contracts, agreements, etc. Represent clients in tribunal proceedings as needed Identify marketing opportunities and cross-sell other practice areas Stay up-to-date on legal developments and maintain professional development What we can offer you Competitive remuneration and benefits package Hybrid/flexible working opportunities with great technology and welcoming agile offices Inclusive and open culture which focuses on teamworking and collaboration Supportive leadership with structured career progression Health and social initiatives integral to wellbeing and high performance B P Collins believes diversity brings benefits to our clients, our business and our people.
