About the Role This isn’t a desk job - it’s all about people. Each day, you’ll: • Travel to local venues using a company van (fuel and parking covered; average travel time up to one hour each way). • Set up engaging and eye-catching fundraising stands. • Chat with the public about nature and the RSPB’s mission. • Inspire people to support us through regular giving. You’ll spend your days outdoors, meeting new people, and making a tangible impact for wildlife. It takes confidence and resilience - but it’s incredibly rewarding. What We Offer: • Full training provided - no wildlife knowledge required. • Stable salary (not commission-based). • Company van for business use (all fuel and expenses covered). • 34 days annual leave (including bank holidays, pro rata). • Supportive, inclusive team culture. Flexibility to work 3,4 or 5 day weeks. Potential opportunity to return each summer. What We Need from You: • Passion for people and conservation. • Confidence engaging with members of the public. • Resilience and positivity when faced with challenges. • Comfortable working outdoors and independently. • A full UK driving licence. • Willingness to travel on average up to one hour each way from home. • Fundraising, sales or customer service experience (desirable). • Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends per month. Additional Information • Fixed-term, until early September 2026 with the potential to return each year. • Start date: February/March 2026 - Potential Interview dates - 6th December 2025 • Induction and training provided at RSPB HQ, Sandy, Bedfordshire (travel and accommodation covered). • Active fundraising season runs April to September. • We may close early if sufficient applications are received.
