Assistant Practitioner - Live Team

The team is based at Highbury Hospital and works across various inpatient wards and sites. We collaborate with staff, patients, and community providers to enhance patient involvement, engagement, and experience. Our work is grounded in Occupational Therapy and the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, delivering holistic activities such as sports, yoga, music, pottery, social groups, and animal roadshows.
We are looking for a candidate with skills and knowledge of working within mental healthcare, adopting a recovery-focused approach. The post involves contributing to and coordinating projects, working with multidisciplinary teams, and establishing strategic partnerships to develop clinical activities and pathways.

Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, plan, coordinate, facilitate, and review diverse engagement opportunities aligned with the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
2. Lead the coordination and scheduling of activities across multiple sites for the Live Team.
3. Promote a positive culture that values meaningful activity and engagement.
4. Establish and maintain partnerships with internal and external providers, ensuring evidence-based practices and strategic alignment.
5. Support and lead project management tasks, including planning, finance management (supervised), implementation, and evaluating outcomes.
6. Manage charitable funds for services and resources under supervision.
7. Assist with administrative tasks and coordination of the team’s services, using various systems and applications, and support upskilling of team members and students.
