This is a hands‑on technical role for someone who enjoys working close to the code, collaborating with talented engineers, and improving how complex systems are tested and released.
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain automated test frameworks that validate functionality, performance, and reliability across front‑end and service layers.
* Build and expand API‑level test coverage for distributed and event‑driven services.
* Integrate testing into continuous delivery pipelines to support fast, predictable releases.
* Collaborate closely with developers and platform engineers to identify risks and refine system behaviour.
* Perform exploratory testing when deep product knowledge or human insight adds unique value.
* Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, tooling improvements, and test strategy discussions.
Skills & Experience
* Experience working within the financial services industry is necessary.
* Strong understanding of service testing, messaging, and integration between distributed components.
* Hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms and version control in a modern DevOps environment.
* Exposure to domains that require high throughput, low latency, or real‑time responsiveness.
* Clear communicator with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
* Thrives in a fast‑moving environment where quality and reliability are critical.
