Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Gatwick

About the Role
* Lead commercial activities across decarbonisation project at Gatwick, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
* Work closely with project teams to provide proactive commercial support on-site
* Manage contractual obligations and commercial risks from inception to project completion
Key Responsibilities
* Review and vet contract documentation to ensure alignment with tender requirements and contractual obligations
* Develop and maintain Commercial Risk Registers for each contract; monitor risks and implement mitigation measures
* Prepare and issue enquiries for major plant, equipment, and sub-contract packages; review quotations and negotiate terms
* Raise purchase orders and manage supplier/sub-contractor procurement
* Prepare and submit applications for payment, invoices, and progress client payments per contractual provisions
* Measure, submit, and agree variations, loss & expense, and compensation events
* Monitor on-site record keeping and issue contractual notices where necessary
* Prepare monthly cost value reconciliations, cash/spend profiles, and attend contract review meetings
* Authorize and code supplier/sub-contractor invoices for payment
* Measure, certify, and agree sub-contractor interim valuations and final accounts
* Provide commercial guidance and support to site management teams
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification
* Proven experience in quantity surveying, ideally within renewable energy, aviation, or M&E projects
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practices
* Experience resolving complex or disputed accounts to finality
* Competent in financial and contract management software (desirable)
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

* Flexible approach to workload management and meeting deadlines
