Design and Technology Teacher Location: Hillingdon Role: Teaching. Job type Full time. Salary: £190 - £200 per day. About this role: For KS3 through KS4, this school is seeking a full-time DT teacher with specialist experience with food technology. Candidates will be working with year 7 to year 11 so it is required of candidates to organise and facilitate a stimulating and motivating learning environment for the students. You will work with a welcoming, close-knit department that values collaboration and co-plans assignments to guarantee best practices and uniformity in all classrooms. Finally, candidates should be familiar with the current curriculum and understand what kind of support the students will need before class to ensure that they meet their goals for the term. and an ability to implement behavioural and emotional management with the students, demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the content of the curriculum and increase achievement of all pupils including, where appropriate, those with special educational needs and disabilities. Candidates should also be confident in their ability to teach the material to the student and be able to find resources to help the student to feel a sense of achievement ahead of time for various year groups. Finally, candidates should be familiar with the current curriculum before the lessons.
