Our client is looking for a social worker to join their team. To deliver a high quality social work service to people who are deemed vulnerable or needing support due to : As part of the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team, to assist the Section Managers and Team Managers in managing the Adult Safeguarding Process for County Borough of Conwy, providing services to Adults and Families in need of Protection in the local community. Manage the reception of referrals, make timely decisions within statutory time limits and consult with Section Manager, colleagues within the MASH Team, Senior Safeguarding Social Worker or other managers on Adult Protection cases and other cases/matters of significant concern. To be responsible for the oversight and governance of case management within the Adult Safeguarding Process ensuring the production of high quality case work and high quality protection plans. To drive cases to meet the adults needs promptly within the prescribed timescales and to ensure that adults are properly protected and supported within the community and within the care system. Ensure that practice complies with the All Wales safeguarding Procedures, legislation protocol and other guidance. Maintain good relationships with partner agencies through actively promoting good interagency understanding and intervening positively when differences may impinge on effective safeguarding. Promote sound practice through advice, consultancy and training To collate performance data to meet statutory duties, service evaluation and planning. To assist the Section Managers manage the delivery of the Adult Safeguarding process. You will need to work with the citizen, carers and families to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that the citizen, families and carers are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve.
