Purpose:

The Residential Field Supervisor is responsible for performing a wide range of sales activities in support of the sales department and the corporate strategic plan. Responsible for generating commercial maintenance contracts as well as commercial replacement and new equipment installations while upholding the mission values & purpose of Jackson and Sons along with providing excellent customer service. This person must be able to broaden and diversify the commercial maintenance and sales campaigns of the company to drive the increase in commercial sales.

Mission:

The Residential Field Supervisor responsibilities include:

* Securing sales from customers by means of cold calls, on-site calls, telephone contacts and existing customer base.
* Maintain a positive attitude and outlook to maximize opportunities for commercial maintenance sales within the company.
* Drive commercial maintenance and equipment sales with excellent relationship skills and an administrative mind.
* The commercial field supervisor acts as the first point of contact with all maintenance customers such as problem solving, estimating maintenance agreements, and renewing maintenance agreements and sale of equipment.
* Reviewing data to determine job material and equipment requirements and preparing work orders.
* Maintaining written and electronic records of sales-related leads, contacts, referrals, future opportunities, follow-ups, and key names and addresses.
* Establishing relationships with product representatives and local suppliers to stay current and ahead of product lines, promotions, trends, and changes within the industry.
* Improving his or her sales skills and HVAC knowledge through self-study, product seminars, corporate training, and self-improvement courses.
* Responding to written and telephone inquiries that are sales-related or could lead to a sales-related dialogue.
* Conducting himself/herself in a professional manner to echo the ethical standards of the corporation.
* Performing related sales duties as directed by the Sales Manager.
* Responsible for meeting, monthly and annual sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Residential HVAC sector.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and facility managers.
* Conduct site visits and consult with clients to assess HVAC needs and recommend suitable products and services.
* Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotes for HVAC systems, installations, and service contracts.
* Close sales and meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
* Provide expert advice and technical support to clients regarding HVAC system designs, energy efficiency, and product performance.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape.
* Negotiate contracts and terms of service with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitability.
* Work closely with the operations and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
* Handle post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Provide ongoing support to customers, addressing any concerns or issues that arise post-installation.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in HVAC sales, with a strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close sales, and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical recommendations to clients.
* Knowledge of HVAC industry standards, codes, and regulations.
* Be a skilled and experienced salesperson with a proven record of direct sales experience, including a record as a strong sale closer.
* Experience in sales-related marketing in HVAC or building service fields.
* Possessing excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to sell to a wide range of customers, e.g., residential, commercial, and industrial.
* Physical ability to conduct sales workups on actual jobsites, and under adverse weather conditions.
* Current North Carolina driver’s license. Incumbent must be insurable by current Jackson & Sons, Inc. insurance carrier.
* Have two or more years of post-secondary education in sales, marketing, business or human sciences.
* Be a self-motivated, extrovert, tactful, organized, goals-oriented professional.
* Familiarity with the following computer software programs: Microsoft Office, Right-Suite.
* Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
