Senior Software Engineer
Location: Remote (UK-based) or Hybrid from Nottinghamshire office
Salary: £40, - £50, per annum

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic, cross-functional team at a globally recognised hosting and cloud infrastructure organisation. You'll play a key role in developing innovative systems that power businesses worldwide - from reliable web hosting to emerging AI technologies.
This is a fully remote position (within the UK), but we also offer the option to work from our office in Nottinghamshire if you prefer a hybrid or in-person setup.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Designing and building scalable, high-performance systems using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
2. Contributing to the development and integration of AI-driven features and systems
3. Working closely with DevOps, product, and UI/UX teams in a collaborative environment
4. Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions
5. Writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and security
What We're Looking For
6. Solid experience with PHP and modern JavaScript (ES6 )
7. Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
8. Familiarity with AI systems (e.g., integration of ML APIs, AI-powered features, automation tools)
9. Experience working in agile or cross-functional development environments
10. A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of features and projects
11. Comfortable working remotely and communicating effectively with a distributed team
Bonus Points For
12. Experience with Laravel, Vue.js, or React
13. Exposure to cloud infrastructure or hosting environments
14. Knowledge of REST APIs, Git, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines
