Overview
DWF's Insurance team in Scotland is looking to recruit a Paralegal working in our award-winning counter-fraud team. The successful applicant will act for household name insurers and provide high quality advice on defending a wide range of pre-litigation personal injury claims where fraud is suspected. The role can be based from either of our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.
Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse caseload for insurers of suspected fraudulent motor claims, from inception to resolution.
* Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
* Conduct research to support legal strategies and case development.
Essential
* Previous Paralegal experience working on personal Injury or motor claims.
* Strong communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
Desirable
* Experience of working in a fast paced environment with a volume of claims.
* Experience of fraud work would be useful but is not essential.
